Our Team
Dr. Wensong Li MD
Dr. Wensong Li, is a fellowship trained, double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management, with extended expertise in treating back pain and arthritis pain.
After completing his surgery and anesthesiology residency at North Shore University Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center in NY, Dr. Li was fortunate to attend a pain management fellowship at New York University Medical Center in NYC, where he was trained under one of the world’s most prominent specialists in pain management, Dr. Michel Dubois.
During the past 10 years, Dr. Li has dedicated his practice to the treatment of pain. With his 9 years strong surgical practice background, he developed pain management service into a premiere minimally invasive pain management practice with an emphasis on non-surgical approach to acute and chronic pain with the ultimate goal of resuming patients function to normal enjoyable lifestyle. Dr. Li continues to utilize the latest, most cutting edge spinal interventions including percutaneous disc decompression, radiofrequency neurolysis, kyphoplasty and spinal cord stimulator.
Dr. Li is well known for his achieving dramatic improvement in pain without major surgery in Flushing area. Dr. Li prides himself on being a compassionate, caring physician with an excellent interventional pain management. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and Fellow of the North American Neuromodulation Association (NANA). He is also a Board Member of Association of Chinese American Physicians USA.
France Fung
PA-C joined Dr.Li’s team since 2017 after earning her degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is a member of New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and Chinese American Physician Assistant of NY (SIG-CAPA). She keeps up to date with the latest medical knowledge by attending education seminars, and conferences. France enjoys performing procedures of the lower back, shoulder, knees, and joints. She believes that psychological motivation, building rapport with patients, carrying out compassionate care, as well as educating patients in their condition and treatment plan is essential in the management of acute and chronic pain. Aside from being a pain management provider, she has had firsthand experience witnessing the pain of a family member suffering from lumbar fractures and lumbar radiculopathy. Having had family successfully treated for acute and chronic pain, she believes in the critical importance of treating fractures with kyphoplasty, as well as improving functionality and minimizing pain through interventional pain procedures. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, as well as going to the beach to enjoy the sun and ocean breeze. She is a strong believer that time is precious and everyone should learn to cherish every moment with family and loved ones.
Dr. He, Yuchen
Dr. He earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook ‘University in 2017. Her physical therapy interests and clinical experience include general orthopedics, sports rehab, neurology rehab and vestibular rehab. Yuchen believes in treating her patients in a holistic approach including osteopathic manipulation, evidence based practice, patient education, manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Dr. Yuchen is a Certified Strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) for individuals suffering from different sports injuries and wish to return to their peak performance. Dr. Yuchen is also certified in LSVT Big to serve Parikingson patients to improve their function level.
NPA Cheng, Tao-Fen
I have been working as a Nurse Practitioner at United Interventional Pain Management since 2016. I provide pain treatment services through various injection procedures under fluoroscopy-guided and ultrasound-guided, based on current evidence-based practice, approved protocols, and standardized treatment plans. My past career experience includes holding an administrative position within the Nursing Department division of Women’s and Children’s Services in NYULMC for 13 years. I received my first master’s degree from New York University in Health Care Policy and Management in 2000. I also graduated from the Long Island University Post with my second master’s degree, specializing in the family nurse practitioner program. I am ANCC board-certified as a family nurse practitioner. On a personal note, to relax, I enjoy reading and music. I love cooking, and hiking is my favorite summer outdoor activity.
